Walkball Soccer

The Beautiful Game for All Ages

Paulo

Soccer is a beautiful game. Isn't it a pity, though, that after a certain age, the soccer players find no more place for themselves in the field? Well, Walkball Soccer can change all that, allowing people of all ages to continue to play for as long as they wish. Walkball Soccer is very similar to regular soccer, except that the players do not run. Instead, they walk briskly in pursuit of the ball. If you are 45+ or even much older, you can continue to play Walkball Soccer. And those people who used to be great soccer players at 25+, they can still continue to play for many years later, even after they stop playing regular soccer. That's because Walkball Soccer takes away one of the most treacherous causes of accidents in sports: running.

By walking instead of running, the players of Walkball Soccer get great exercise, develop healthy joints, and minimize the chance of accidental falls and injuries. At the same time, they can practice the same level of soccer exerpertise that they have developed over so many years of practice. Or if they have never played before, they can learn how to play the beautiful game.

One of the courses I took at Sac State had to do with physical fitness. It involved jogging and lots of challenging physical exercises. This course was a lot harder than I had anticipated, but it put me on a course of activities that resulted in a lot better physical shape. I was challenged by that course content; I took up the challenge; and over a period of about two year I reshaped my body completely,\ including nutrition and life style. And that is when I became interested in walking as a great form of exercise.

I have done some research over the Internet on the topic of walking as a means to achieve physical fitness, and I was surprised at the incredible amount of information that there is on the Internet about walking. You can see the results of my research here.
